New Puppy

What did the puppy do on the Sabbath?...

Paws.

Here is our latest addition. Bailey. Named after the grandest of all drinks, Irish Cream.

He is a lot of fun. Full of energy and amazingly smart. So far we've got him to shake, sit, stay, come, back up, eat food (though that takes little prompting), and fetch (most of the time).

Life is good for Alison and I these days. I am working at Square Deal Remodeling company, here in Portland, and Alison is working at Larche. I'm gaining lots of skills in finish carpentry doing everything from crown molding to wainscot and banisters. I work by myself most of the time. A situation I rather enjoy as an introvert.

Alison is enjoying her part time role at Larche as well. She works with people with different sorts of handicaps. She is in charge of coordinating the community life of the assistants who work there. Lots of relational work and lots of administration.

Overall, we are doing well. We are blessed with a great church, and the fridge is full.
